This Tourette Syndrome necklace was designed with my own children in mind. I have two children with Tourette Syndrome, so celebrating Tourette Syndrome means everything to our family. I have been making jewelry for years & one day realized I wasn't making jewelry for a cause that means the world to me. After that I added our Tourette Syndrome Collection. This necklace is made with our thick 13mm discs in gold filled, rose gold filled & sterling silver to celebrate you or someone you love with Tourette Syndrome. Tourette Syndrome is not as rare as most people think. Tourette Syndrome & other Tic Disorders are not rare. The current estimates are that 1 out of every 50 children between the ages of 5-17 in the United States has Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder. We donate a percentage of our profits to the Tourette Association of America to help increase awareness of TS & donate to research for Tourette Syndrome. I have found that the more I wear my sterling silver jewelry, the less it tarnishes.
