PENCIL ROVING is unspun combed top roving that has been pre-drafted to the size of a fat pencil. It is an even, soft strand, thicker than a bulky one ply yarn but thinner than regular wool for spinning. Pencil roving opens the door to beginner spinners as well as other types of fiber artists like weavers & felters. Package contains 4 oz (113 g). SPINNING - Perfect for beginning spinners using either spinning wheel or drop spindle. Pre-drafted pencil roving makes spinning easy - no fussing with the fiber, keep your eyes on the spindle & let your hands get into the rhythm! You will spin like a pro in no time!
