Vintage Siesta Ware Mug, Green Glass Grand Ole Opry Mug with Wooden Handle, 1960s Coffee Cup Fantastic & classic barrel shaped mug by Siesta Ware. Green glass is printed with stylized font in a cream color. The mug has gold metal bands at the top & bottom, which attach to the wooden handle. Great souvenir piece, perfect to display in your vintage bar, dining room, or kitchen. Definitely great to drink out of, but this mug cannot be put in the microwave (metal!) & should not be put in the dishwasher. Dishwasher will ruin the mug; mug will ruin your microwave! This mug comfortably holds about 12 ounces. Can hold 14oz if you are careful, & 16oz fills it TO THE BRIM. Measures 5" tall.
