This beautiful, Waltham, 6 size, ladies pocket watch has a uniquely carved, gold-filled, gold-filled, hand-carved case Keystone case. It features an unusual, almost Art Deco floral motif overlaid on an engine-turned backdrop. The front has the same pattern with the addition of a shield-shaped cartouche, where you could engrave your initials. The inside dust cover has been engraved by the original owner & was obviously a present to his cherished daughter in 1910! Imagine how highly regarded Margaret was to receive such a fine gift & how much she must have cherished this watch for it to still be in such pristine condition! It would make a wonderful gift again to a special person, or a fine addition to your collection. Under the lid showing through a clear glass crystal is the white porcelain face, in excellent condition, with the delicate roman numerals indicated by equally delicate 'Fine Spade' blued-steel hands. Inside, the 7 jewel, Seaside movement, has recently been completely disassembled, cleaned, & oiled by a professional watchmaker. It is keeping excellent time. There is almost no wear on the case despite it being a 118-year-old timepiece. Please look at all pictures as they are most of the description. As with all vintage watches, it is being sold as-is. However, if you have a problem in the first 2 weeks after receiving your watch, send it back to me & I will have it repaired. So, buy with confidence!
