Description
REAL fresco handpainted on natural plaster 100% handmade & handpainted Dimensions (With the panel) Height : 60 cm / (23.62 inches) Width : 32 cm / (12.6 inches) depth: 1,5cm / (0.6 inches) Our unique frescoes are painted on a thin layer of natural plaster which is applied on a wooden frame. Minoan Frescoes were created by mixing pigments with water & applying them onto plaster where the absorbed colors dried into the surface. These blue moneys appear on a wall in Akrotiri, a Minoan city on the island of Santorini. The monkey was indigienous to Egypt & may have been brought to the island as gifts & pets. The artist creates a highly naturalistic portrait of the animal - blue with a white belly & groin - very different from the highly stylized Egyptian art of the period.
