The clock hours have been performed in Roman figures from horseshoe wedges reminding iron copper, as does the other surface elements - the three striking arrow hands & the artistic ornament of a horse head positioned at the center of the face just under the hands. The clock has a rustic flair which makes it a nice compliment to home décor & the outdoors. It is a large object measuring 13.4" (34 cm) in diameter & 1.6 (4 cm) thick. The clock works with silent quartz mechanism, with no noisy ticking which to annoy you while at rests. It needs a standard AA battery not included in the pack.
