1950s French Colorist Master Adrien Seguin (1926-2005) Vintage Red Ink drawing on paper. Woman figure. Signed & dated lower right corner. Artist: Adrien Seguin (1916-2005) Adrien Seguin was born in Pau (France) in 1926. He moved to Africa with his family until he was 18 years old. Seguin studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Montpellier & at Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Paris. He studied with Andre Lhote. Seguin's work was influenced by the Fauvist movement & is considered member of the Colorist movement. His artworks are sold by galleries all over the world & are collected by several museums in France, including the Musée de Montmartre in Paris. Seguin died in Montpellier in 2005. France. Dated 1954 lower right corner. Good general condition. Some marks of the old age. Sold with a vintage frame in vintage pre-owned condition. Size Unframed 10 1/2" x 8" (approximately).
