Reclaimed wood - Reclaimed wood has been saved from various sources & given a new life. Please note these can & often do have small flaws. This can be a slight dent, scratch or small nail hole to name a couple. All wood is solid but will show some of its past life. It will not be a "perfect" lumber yard look. We try our best to keep the good & do away with all the eally damaged wood. Working with this wood saves it from a landfill & more trees being cut. This is our most popular item right now. Do you like this feeder but not a fan of the torched look? That's ok, now you can order one of these unfinished trains & either paint or stain it anyway you like. This train will come to you fully assembled. All parts will have a high quality glue & mails used to keep all parts tight & secure. The glue we use will break chunks out of the wood before coming loose. After you finish these the way you like, it is best to use a quality outdoor poly for protection. Jars are not included with these but a standard size quart jar, Mayo jars or the like will fit the opening. These are a made to order item. Made from reclaimed spruce wood that has been lightly sanded to remove all splinters. All reclaimed wood can & does have small blemishes in the wood such as small nail holes, dents, nicks or sometimes a small gap in the wood. If these bother you, simple use a wood filler that works well with your type of finish & sand smooth. Your fluffy tailed friends can climb into the engine cab & have a snack of nuts or seeds while all the other family members can take a ride in the dining car. The dining car serves up ears of corn on the two tables with plenty of seat space. Overall this measures 32 inches long. There is a latch in the center between the engine & last car. Perfect to sit on a tree branch or even on the ground. The engine stands about 14 inches tall. Dining car can be made without the tables & nails so you can fill with seed, corn, nuts, ect...
