If you have never heard the sound of capiz shells, you're in for a treat. Each shell is 2 inches in diameter. About 27" long including the 3" red cotton tassel at the bottom. Very lightweight, so can be hung on a glass door panel with no problem, which is where I have mine hanging. Each shell has a sanskrit symbol painted on it corresponding to the color of the chakra colored shell, so there are 7 shells connecting to 7 chakras. They are strung on clear nylon rope & have a corresponding colored glass bead between each shell. Distance between each shell is about 2". You'll love the gentle soothing sound of this windchime!
