Here is a handmade pendant made with two amethysts & a hand cast sedum in sterling silver. The sedum (a succulent) came from my garden & is hand cast in solid sterling silver using a method similar to lost wax casting. The result is an exact one of a kind replica of the plant. The amethysts are teardrop shaped. I set them in fine silver bezels with sterling silver back plates. They are attached at the tips to the enter element - the sedum. One stone appears to have a little pocket of crystals on the surface. A sterling silver chain finishes the necklace & fastens with a lobster clasp. The necklace is 20" in length.
