Lag loops are exactly what they sound like (i hope). These loops are attached to 1" x 1/4" flat bar with a hole that allows you to drill you lag deep into the playa (or really any ground). once in the loop will allow multiple connections for hooks & other thing when using as a pull down (say on your Carport or shade structure) - Hot Wax finish protects the piece from moisture & keeps the metal looking like metal. It doesn't chip but may not last as a finish over extreme environments. Rust will not stop these from working. 1/2" version will work with 3/8 but you will need a washer. 5/8" version will work with 1/2" but you will need a washer (shipping included in the US) Lag Loops - Made For Heavy Duty Securement On Playa
