Decorative Vintage Tea Kettle "Polar Ware" Made in Sheboygan WI Aluminum Vintage Kitchen Cookware Flower Pot Utensil This tea kettle was made at the Polar Ware Co. , Sheboygan, WI in the early 1900's. Later the company merged with Vollrath Co. that made stainless steel bowls & dishes & enamel ware bowls & pans. It is used to heat water for tea, coffee, hot water, etc. It can also be used to add humidity to the air in your home by boiling water to form steam. Now most people use them for decoration or planting flowers in outside as decor. I did descale the inside so it could be used for heating water again. It holds approximately one gallon of water. It is made from aluminum with a fitted cover & wood handle. 657 Measures Base: 8 3/4" Diameter, with the spout 12 1/2" Kettle: 5 1/2" High, with the handle 11 1/2" Zoom into all pictures as this is part of the description.
