Description

This is a vintage 1920s paper doll cut from a Magazine. I am not sure who the artist is. Once upon a time this belonged to a little girl named Helen. I stumbled across these many years ago, & thought they were so sweet. The most charming thing about them is the fact that she drew a lot of her own clothing designs. When I was a child , I drew paper dolls constantly, so these are close to my heart. The hand drawn clothing seems to be done on a variety of different papers - whatever scraps were on hand. The dolls name is written in cursive on the back - this one is James Harrison. Great for a paper doll collector, fashion historian, collage artist, or just a sentimentalist. I have other listings from her collection, please check out my shop! Doll measures approximately 7 1/4 inches tall. He has 3 printed outfits & 13 hand drawn outfits. This makes 17 pieces in all. Please study photos carefully as all sales are final. 1920S Paper Doll "James Francis"
