This vintage Burmese round lacquerware lidded betel nut box has such a beautiful sheen that it has been labeled vintage. Except for a few places on the trays where the lacquer has chipped off as seen in the images, & on the lid where the edge was scratched, this box is in mint condition. The box contains two fitted trays to hold various leaves & spices for wrapping the betel nut mixture. Though it was intended for food items, please use it for decor only. The box outer lid & inner lid are covered with paintings of ladies sitting in court though one appears to be dancing.
