This listing is for Silver Plated Cream Sauce Ladle marked "Wm. Rogers" on the back of the handle & monogrammed "HOWARD" on the top of the handle. The pattern is called YALE & dates from 1894. This ladle measure 6" long by 1 3/4" across the bowl. Condition is VERY GOOD. There are no dents, no wear on the edges, nicely shaped handle, no bending or nicks & no plate wear. This has been used, but displays beautifully & has lots of life in it. The pattern is sharp with lots of shine & only light scratching ....this is really beautiful ladle with a lovely classical styling ready to use. Please excuse the brown lines & pink cast to some of my pictures....the piece is polished & ready to use....the lines & spots were caused by the beams in my ceiling reflecting on the surface of the silver.
