This is for beautiful vintage Danish B&G (Bing & Grondahl) Kjøbenhavn Denmark Porcelain Christmas Plates from the Annual Christmas Plate collection in stunning blue & white. This plate is marked on the back with the Bing & Grøndahl Kjøbenhavn logo, specific to year produced, & has the name of the plate in Danish. They are signed by the artist & has holes in the back for hanging, but can also be displayed with a stand. History: Bing & Grøndahl was a Danish porcelain manufacturer founded in 1853 by the sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl & merchant brothers Meyer Hermann Bing & Jacob Herman Bing. The trademark backstamp for Bing & Grøndahl (B&G) porcelains is the three towers derived from the Coat of Arms of Copenhagen. B&G produced its first Blue & White Christmas plate in 1895 & plate designs are molded in the plate in relief & hand-painted. in 1987 the company merged with its primary competitor, the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen.
