Description
This is a simple scud or sowbug pattern with a tungsten bead on a jig hook. The shrimp pink ice dubbing hot spot imitates a pregnant scud, in which a bright orange spot is visible through the body of the bug. These flies work especially well in tailwater sections just downstream of weeds/aquatic vegetation where the bugs like to hang out. This is a great anchor fly in larger sizes, or in tandem with other flies in smaller sizes. This pattern is tied on a barbless, black nickel finished jig hook. These hooks ride point up, reducing snags on the bottom. They are easier to remove from a fish mouth, & cause less stress on your catch. This listing is for 4 flies.
