This is a vintage wood frame painted a light blue, framing a reproduction of Baby Stuart. The artwork was originally painted by Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641) in 1635. It shows the future King James II as an infant, referred to as Baby Stuart. He was one of the children of King Charles I of England. He is dressed in his finest & is holding an apple. The frame is chipped & worn & is in fair vintage condition.
