1940's TV Lamp with Fan Style Vase or Planter in working condition. Measures 11" tall by 8" across & a depth of 6 1/2". Scalloped top vase or planter in a crescent shape that measures 1 1/2" across & tapers to 33334" on ends & 8 3/4" deep. The light bulb is set into the back, sponged gold leaf paint on the top rim accents around the image & a 3/4" band around the base. The image is a romantic scene of an older couple listening to a young woman playing a stringed instrument & another couple in the background, this is an image of a painting by the French artist Jean-Honore Fragonard (1732-1806), The piece itself is by M. Langbroek, Amsterdam, Holland. It weights 5 pounds & 14 ounces & will come double boxed for safety.
