I found this item at an estate sale of an antiques dealer. Its a page turner from the late 1800's. When I found it the page turner had dark spots & green spots. The patina was very uneven & it looked terrible so I had no choice but to clean it & polish it with some Brasso. You could not see the dragons before I cleaned but you sure can see them now & they are definitely cool. I think it turned out looking great! The dragons will slide off of the shaft but I think it was designed like that. I would say it's not in excellent condition but it still looks good to be 130+ years old!
