Authentic early Vein 1/2 Ocean Jasper slab from the Marovato mine in Madagascar. Beautiful high grade piece with mauve/pink, green & white. Areas of translucency & nice green druze. Flower orb patterning in the white region of the piece. All photos taken in natural light, no filters, no flash, in order to accurately represent each piece. Ocean Jasper is a trade name for an orbicular Chalcedony, a variety of Quartz with spherical patterning, found in Northwestern Madagascar. The source of the stone was not discovered until 1999.
