The sculpture busts are an investigation into material & technique as well as expression created in the 'alla prima' method. Created from numerous layers of plaster, shaped & broken, chipped & reapplied. Finished in Linseed Oil with a Custom Black Wood Base. xxii ~ This Piece : "Remembrance of Belief" Sculpture & Base are separate & can be displayed with the base or not. The Wood Base was painted & varnished by the artist & is signed. Base comes with plastic bumpers to protect the surface of display.
