Description
This is a lovely hand painted porcelain plate made by J.P.L France, Jean Pouyat Limoges. This plate has a smooth finish with a hand painted design of white flowers with mauve, beigh & green leaves. The design covers about 3/4's of the plates outer area & the remainder of the plate has a soft gray & cream & light brown wash. The artwork is very nicely done, the white flowers are slightly raised, having just a touch of texture. The shadows & leaves are beautiful. The plate measures 8 1/2" in diameter. Excellent condition.
