Description
This 8" x 10" print is hand signed & hand applied to black stretched canvas. it has a homemade quality to it as I cut & apply each print separately so each one is a little different. It is ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger & was created from an original oil painting of mine. It is a perfect little wink to the Continental Army as you might be looking for a small item to add to your seasonal patriotic decorating. It can sit on the shelf or hang on the wall! The soldiers are marching through a typical New England landscape with Rufus Porter style primitive homes in the background. The bunting at the top adds a little extra joy! It was around the time of the bicentennial in 1976 when I really started to come into my own as a little artist. I drew & painted constantly & was highly influenced by all of the Spirit of 76 & George Washington advertisements & television programs that were on at the time. It has affected my artistic style for my entire life! Marching Soldiers Print Mounted On Canvas
