Also you can see some of the beautiful & soulful artwork of talented local artists from Himalayas. Silk brocading is a process of framing a Thangka in traditional Tibetan style. The frame is made of beautiful silk fabric having rich colors & patterns. The silk fabric protects the edges of the Thangka, & also makes it easier to hang. A thin silk cover protects the painting when rolled, & may be gathered up to display the painting when hung on the wall. It is generally thought that silk brocade renders a Thangka more attractive & more religious. Beautiful Kalachakra Mandala ; 'The Wheel of Time' is designed & initiated by 14th current Dalai Lama for 'World Peace'. The MANDALA is the Yantra ; instrument for meditation, & yoga. The MANDALA is the graphic & astrological representation of the universe e.i. macro & micro.It has six rings with six different colors represent six different elements; outer ring's fire symbolizes wisdom, green is the space or eather, black ring is the wind, red is the fire, blue ring represents water & last ring yellow is the earth. & three square boxes with three doors of four different colors in four different directions body ,speech ,and mind of macro univers, & four colors yellow or orange is the morning, white is the day time, red is symbol of evening, & black color of the night.And the center is the Nirvana, which is Liberation of hatred, ignorance, jealousy arrogance, greed, & the anger, means the 'PEACE'.
