Our English Garden seemed just perfect! We decided to use lots of prints from the collection & feature the small yellow flower print for the cornerstone 9-patch & the creamy-grey gingham for the binding. The white softens the sharp red & gives this collection a summer-y vibe...it reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake & pink lemonade & summers spent under clothesline forts & around campfires. This version of English Garden doesn't featuring a border...so the yellow cornerstone blocks bump into the binding...which makes it look old...like gramma did it...which is the best kind of quilt... The size 81 x 99 inches makes it perfect for the porch daybed, the back of the couch, or on the spare bed.
