This is a wonderful antique Schafer & Vater dimensional 3D repousse pink Jasperware pottery handled urn small bud vase with bas relief white Cameo against green background of a lady reading a book. Outer relief decoration in a Art Nouveau aesthetic. with faux jewels. Just fantastic! This piece was produced in Germany circa the early 1900's. This is a stunning & hard to find piece. A lovely addition to your art nouveau collection. Length is 4 1/2 inches, with width of 3-3/8 inches. in very good condition for it's age. Displays nicely! Please see photos for condition. The Schafer & Vater company was located at Volkstedt Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany, originating in 1890. Some pieces are marked with the crown & R mark, but many are unmarked.
