I created a series of Art Prints immortalizing great Record Stores from around the world. As a life long record collector that spent nearly 20 years working in Record Shops back in the 80's & 90's, I have a passion for these treasures of the past that are gone forever. I know times change, but I find it sad that most of today's music fans will never understand the amazing times when there were record shops on every corner. These posters were created as a reminder of those wonderful days. Bleecker Street Records was located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City for the better part of twenty plus years. They eventually moved to West Street after their rent in the village became too expensive & unfortunately, like most record shops in this new era of MP3s & streaming services, closed their doors for good in 2016. As with all of prints & posters, this is an original design featuring my own illustrations, graphic design & art work. Digitally Printed. Available in 11x17 & 16c20 inch.
