Description
This is a VFW garrison cap that is in nice 1950's-1960's vintage condition. It feels like a light wool fabric & I didn't find any stains or tears but did see a couple little moth holes near the PA in Palmyra. There is an embroidered patch on the side reading Veterans of Foreign Wars with an eagle in the center. Near the front it is embroidered with VFW 6778 & on the opposite side is: Palmyra, New York. There is a thin leather band on the inside. It has a split at one corner & another small split on the side. I didn't see any markings inside. The opening of the cap is 11 in. which would make a circumference of approximately 22 in. The sides are 5 in. high at the center.
