The Mesopotamian goddess Gula, whose name means "Great", was a healing goddess, who "understands disease", & was a patroness of doctors. She was also known as Ninisina, the Lady of Isin, though she had temples at Nippur, Borsippa, & Assur. Her sacred animal was the dog, & small model dogs were dedicated to her by her worshippers. Each piece is hand fabricated & made to order. Please allow approximately four to six weeks for casting & creation. Items that are in stock will ship within one to two days.
