This antique vintage handmade quilt came from an estate sale in western Pennsylvania. Clearly made by an accomplished quilter. There are 35 ( 7 rows, 5 squares per row ) of embroidered/cross stitched blue roses on white cotton squares & hand stitched solid blue cotton squares plus matching blue borders. The borders are 5.5" wide. There are 18 11" x 11" cross stitched squares & 17 11" x 11" solid blue squares. A excellent quilt for the collector, it would look great folded & displayed with other quilts & of course it could be used for bedding. FREE SHIPPING. Condition: A cotton summer quilt. Exceptional cross stitching & fine hand stitched quilting. Recently washed & hung on the clothesline to dry in the sun, ready to be brought into your home. Two squares show small light stains, see pictutes. The edge binding shows no wear. Measurements: 66" x 87".
