Known primarily for playing Fender Stratocasters, Hendrix played this hand painted Gibson extensively from 1967 to 1969, most notably for the solo of "All Along the Watchtower". Hendrix painted the body of the guitar using nail polish. The guitar is currently on loan to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Hand drawn, high quality giclee print.
