A nice carafe & cup set made by Seattle area studio potter Ben Bieri. (b-1927) This set is nicely crafted & features a carafe pitcher glazed in a black matt glaze with six mini cups or goblets. The cups are glazed in a black & red glaze & have natural unglazed clay bases. The underside of the carafe is signed Bieri & the cups have the B mark in ink. The carafe measures 7" tall by 5" wide at the base while the cups measure 3 to 3.5" tall. This 7 piece set looks very nice & original overall with minimal signs of past use & storage.
