This is a beautiful authentic Limoges hand-painted 2-piece trinket box in the shape of a footed, hinged egg with tassel & perfume bottle inside. Made by Limoges Imports, this lovely egg is hand-painted in pink & white with artfully, colorful flowers & foliage & has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors. Inside is a removable pink Perfume Bottle with a gold decorative crown around the bright red jewel finial on the dauber. The dauber is also removable so you could add some of your favorite perfume! A dark pink tassel is secured at the tip of the egg. The egg is secured with a gold decorative flower & leaves clasp & is secured by a 3-footed decorative round footed base This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France & bears the insignia of the artist on the bottom of the egg. in excellent, pre-loved condition. Hand-painted by master artisans in Limoges, France. THIS IS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION & has been very well cared for, only displayed behind glass in my curio cabinet.
