Our original barnwood corner desk, the "Mary", has spawned many variations of this beautiful desk. Main section measures 78″W x 24″D & left return section of 72″W x 30″D, giving it an overall dimension of 96″ x 78″. The 1-1/2″ top sits on steel legs & an industrial welded framework. The legs are 3″ x 3″ welded steel with an antique blackened finish. Adjustable leg levelers included. Add in one of our rolling cabinets for more organization with drawer storage, file drawers, or use as a printer stand. The two tops that make up the L-shape are from truly authentic 1-1/2" reclaimed barnwood. The wood for the desktops was salvaged from 2x8 oak floor joist in a barn in Tennessee. The material had 4.7 lbs. of iron & embedded nails in it that had to be removed prior to milling in to usable furniture lumber. Much care was taken to preserve the aged characteristic of the material; it's filled with many saw marks from the early American sawmills, & also loaded with nail holes & worm holes. The most severe holes or indentations were filled for a smoother finish. The desktop then received three coats of a commercial-grade finish. The final product turned out amazing. Lead times at time of purchase are estimations, please notify us immediately if you have specific deadline that must be maintained. Standard LTL shipping & curbside delivery included. Some minor assembly may be required. Additional charges may be incurred if the shipping destination is categorized as remote or heavily populated area such as NYC, LA, etc. An additional fee of $125 is required for lift-gate truck service, which is required for all destinations that do not have a loading dock. Fee not included in the listed price & will be collected when order is complete, or we can arrange for pickup at Buyer's local trucking terminal.
