The Cast Bronze Hatchet Head by NonFerrousCreations is manufactured using one of the most durable & strong bronze alloys available. The hatchet head is 7.5" in overall length (4" blade length), 2.25" in width, & has a 1.5" opening for the handle. The alloy we used is a high strength aluminum bronze. This alloy is used on airplane jacks & heavy duty naval bushings. It comes highlighted on the blade & polished at the neck. This hatchet head can serve as a family heirloom or as a perfect outdoor tool capable of helping the most experienced camper, hiker, or hunter. The blade will need to be sharpened, but once it is sharpened the durability will be unmatched. Made in the USA in Dayton, Ohio.
