I have a collection of these B&G (Bing Grondahl ) Copenhagen, Denmark collectible Christmas plates I purchased in Amsterdam several years ago I will be listing. They are all in excellent, pre-loved condition & are dated. These DO NOT COME in their Styrofoam box. These are for the years 1960, 1966, 1968 & 1969. You can choose which one(s) you would like to purchase. They are all 7-1/8" in diameter & are ready to display on a wall. They have the two holes drilled by the B&G company during production. You can hang them on your wall or stand them in a display stand & they are also perfectly safe to eat off of. Some of these plates are marked "Jule Afren". To honor the giver, recipients would hang the plate after the food was eaten. "Jule Afren" was the time for such giving; & so inscripted was the first holiday plate designed by Denmark's famed Bing & Grondahl porcelain works in 1895.
