This is a terrific Vintage London Landscape Painting, Signed AR Klitz (1917-2000). This Original Fine Art painting by noted 20th-century Irish painter, Anthony Klitz is signed on the back of the stretched "Burlap" canvas. Known for his hazy London's cityscapes, Klitz's works are characterized by their muted palette & blurred edges. Painting is Framed in what looks to be it's original wooden gold tone period frame. "Born on September 3, 1917 in Southport, England, he went on to study at the Cheltenham Art College from 1936 to 1939. He died in Dublin, Ireland on September 19, 2000." Painting is in excellent vintage condition, with definite, though subtle signs of age & wear. Including some very subtle wear along the stretcher line.
