Art work glass vase, hand blown art glass, in shades of caramel & cappuccino. Design: Dragan Drobnjak Produced in the 1970s in the glass factory "9. October" in Prokuplje - Yugoslavia Dimensions: Height: 27 cm (10.63 in) Diameter: from 5 cm to 10 cm (1.96 - 3.93 in) Weight: 1310 g (2.88 lb) Condition: Good vintage condition, two very small damages at the bottom (see last picture) Dragan Drobnjak (Prokuplje 1941) is a Serbian sculptor & glass designer. He graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 1966, & received his master's degree in 1981. He is the first sculptor in Serbia to graduate in glass sculpture. From 1969 to 1991 he was employed as a glass designer in the factory "9. October "in Prokuplje. in 1991, he acquired the title of independent & prominent artist. His works are represented in the collections of the Museum of Glass in Rouen (France), Novi Bor (Czech Republic), the Gallery of Glass in Moscow, the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade & elsewhere.
