Very cool retro stapler made by Speed Products Co. who later changed their name to Swingline in 1956. It has a black powder coat finish, very industrial & was designed in 1938 by Stephen Crosby. The design was somewhat streamlined in the 1950's but this has more of a late art deco look to it. This is the smaller model No.3 There are the usual surface scratches & wear but otherwise it staples fine. Overall measures 6" x 3 7/8" & is heavy. Speed Stapler No.3 Vintage Speed Products Co.
