Ideally use a lightweight cotton between the patch & the iron, to avoid damaging the appliqué. Most importantly, please allow the patch to cool down. These patches are ideal for cotton but we do recommend using fabric glue for fabrics such as denim, canvas or anything that would melt when using the iron. If you need a more permanent solution, we suggest sewing a few stitches by hand around the patch or for extra strength, we recommend using fabric glue. Machine wash at 30c, avoid tumble drying if possible. If you wish to tumble dry, please do so on a low heat & add a few hand stitches for extra security. More fabrics are also available.
