Description
These cast nose & lips are over 20 years old & were made for a special project in the mid 1990s. The project is long gone but the lips remained behind. Pulled from storage we offer them here. They were cast in Quikrete mortar mix. The original mold was from a large doll head. Some have a few small bubble holes (see pictures) from the pouring. The backs of all of them are flat. It's an interesting element for the right art project. Cement, concrete, & mortar are three different materials. The basic difference is that cement is a fine binding powder (which is never used alone), mortar is composed of cement & sand, & concrete is composed of cement, sand, & gravel.
