Neat example of Art Deco style in this old Kandor camera. This is only a partial shell, & as you can see the back half of the camera is missing. Made by Irwin Corporation of New York, this is part of a Kandor Jr. Candid Type with an Eyvar Lens. Probably from the late 1930s or early 1940s. Obviously this is not operational. It has a very cool Art Deco look. The box camera measures about 5" wide by 3 1/2" high by 2 1/4" deep & appears to be in poor condition as the lens does not rotate or move, & while the lever moves the viewfinder remains dark so one cannot see through the lens.
