Description

Leather chair by Janez Lajovic from 1962. The architect designed it for the Hotel Prisank in Kranjska Gora (Slovenia) , so the chair is most often referred to as Prisank. Its frame is made of wood, while Lajovic chose leather for the seat & back. A limited series of chairs (around 150) were made for the Prisank Hotel at the time, & a simplified version of the chair later filled many more public spaces. Interesting detail: metal clasps with which the leather backrest is fastened. This is a version with armrests. Manufactured by STOL Kamnik. Chair is in good vintage condition, firm & stable. Signs of age are visible as some scratches & leather wear. There are also some scratches on the wooden base. The wood was obviously painted. Please see upclose photos for more info. Great addition for living room or just as an exhibition product of ex-Yugoslavian manufacturing. Materials are: wood & real leather. SHIPPING: We try to reuse packaging as much as possible, the package will be carefully wrapped & protected before shipping. We ship worldwide.
