There is 2.5 inches of usable space between the front & back of the shelf. HANGING INSTRUCTIONS: Drill & Screwdriver needed NOTE: Use of a power drill or over tightening could cause wood to split For installation pre drill holes through back of shelf in line with studs in wall if possible. This will give your shelf the best support. Screws will be included for you. PROCESSING TIME / SHIPPING: All of our products are made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for them to be made prior to shipping. We must allow time for sanding, staining, drying & assembly. The cost of shipping will depend on the origin, destination, weight, & dimensions of the package. Your product will be mailed via USPS (or FedEx) & we are not responsible for delays or damage that may occur during the time it is in their possession. If there is an issue with your order please contact us immediately. INTERNATIONAL: We ship worldwide! For larger items, such as floating ledge shelves, there is a maximum shelf size of 58 inches (Australia 38") that we can ship to you. When purchasing items internationally, please provide us with a phone number in the notes section during checkout. This is important if there are any issues with customs. MULTIPLE ITEMS: If multiple items are ordered, specifically floating ledge shelves, they will be shipped in their own boxes, separately. They cannot be shipped in the same box. Smaller items will be shipped together if possible. Multiple packages shipped the same day may get separated during transit. Please refer to each item's tracking number for specifics on package whereabouts. RUSH ORDERS: We may be able to be accommodate rush orders depending upon your desired arrival date, the item specifics & our availability to get materials. This would be completing an order sooner than our standard 2-3 week production time.
