The Viking word Mjölnir means "Crusher", & was the name of the magical hammer wielded by Thor, the son of Odin. We designed & made this Viking pendant to pay homage to that mighty hammer. It was born in fire, & was hand-forged from iron. The detailing on the hammer's head is meant to represent man's connection to Nature. Because each of these pendants is hand-forged, there may be some very slight differences in each hammer, making each one unique. The pendant measures about 2.5 x 1.6 inches. A genuine leather neck cord is included. We also sell chains separately in our shop. Please see below for more details. The back of the hammer head is flat. - A leather neck cord is Included. - Can accept chains that are 5mm thick or less - Chains are sold separately in our shop. - Suitable for anyone.
