Description
This old doorknob was found in a turn of the century Arts & Crafts home outside Philadelphia PA. Probably from the early 1900s, this knob is decorative & still highly functional. It features raised relief in an Arts & Crafts style. The ferrule is made of metal, but the knob is probably brass as a magnet does not stick to the round knob but the magnet does stick to the ferrule. The knob shows heavy wear & tear & some oxidation on the back, as this was on an outside door exposed to the elements for many decades, & is generally in fair condition.
