The cord used is advertised as waterproof by some, but is not. I am continually trying new cord in search of true waterproof cord that will work with the drill holes in the stones. The one currently in use is the best quality found to date & whenever I find even better quality that will work with the stones, I upgrade to that cord. Please keep dry.
