Description

This beautiful Antique Maxfield Parrish Lithograph I would look lovely on your Gallery Wall!! in it's Early Original Wooden Frame. This piece is surely a great piece to add to your Art Collection! This piece was a true Barn Find from one of my picking trips!! Maxfield Parrish was an American painter & illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues & idealized neo-classical imagery. His career spanned fifty years & was wildly successful: His painting Daybreak is the most popular art print of the 20th century. The backing has HC Prange Co Largest Dept. Store in Sheboygan, WI Stamped logo. The lower left corner says The House of Art NY There is some damage to both the Lithograph & the frame. So please take a look at the photos carefully & if you need more feel free to ask. There looks to have been water damage in the lower right & left corners along with some spots in the upper right middle area. The backing is also damaged & could be replaced. The frame has chipping of the paint & wood but I love the look that it gives of it's true age!! The colors of the frame are black & grey with shimmers & a little red & blue showing through. You could always cover up the backing with new backing! This is still a beautiful piece to add to your home or office!! It measures approximately 31 1/2 inches wide by 23 inches tall by 3/4 inches deep.
