This is such a lovely print of one of my original BATIKS, a favorite. It depicts a sweet golden bird, a bit of a fantasy warbler...Note that this listing is for the silk print, ready to mat & frame, & not the matting or framing, which are to show you how lovely this print looks framed. It can be sent directly to your recipients, in which case I gift-wrap (included) & include a hand-written small gift card. Shipping is free. Also includesd with your purchase is a BACKING PLATE of heavy card stock, which you may customize or use one of my backing designs. We can discuss. This is a gorgeous SILK PRINT which I will create for you. Print fits within an 11" X 14" frame with mat opening to be 8.5" X 11". (Print comes with a 1/4" white border all around.) The original fiber art is a traditional aBatik, which is a process of dying fabric & painting with wax, using it as a resist. I photograph the finished piece & put it into my computer, & from there, I can print the design directly onto fine, silk Habotai that is 8.5" x 11". The silk print is paper-backed which keeps it nicely flat. The print will come to you with a foam core backing & in a plastic sleeve. As mentioned above, I include a backing PLATE, which is a separate page of heavy weight card stock that is the full size of the print. This can be customized to your liking or you can choose one of my pages pictured above. I insert it onto the back of the foam core included with the silk. So if you have your own message to your recipient, or a poem or philosophy you would like printed instead, just let me know & I can create it for you; I can send you examples. This is all included with your silk piece. This is not only a spectacular design but the actual printing on the silk is gorgeous: rich warm golds, very lovely.
